Who are we?
We are Carnegie Mellon University's chapter of Global Public Health Brigades, CMU GPHB for short!
Our goals as a brigade:
+ To strive to educate the Carnegie Mellon and Pittsburgh community about the importance of public health and living healthy lifestyles
+ To inspire students of all disciplines at Carnegie Mellon to become a vital part of the struggles occurring in developing countries and play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the world
+ To encourage students to embrace this experience with compassion and an open mind, and and to motivate members to actively gain worldly knowledge
+ To improve equality of life by igniting large student-led social responsibility on the planet
+ To empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world
